Korico started as Anu's personal notes while repeatedly renewing her own D-2 visa, registering with immigration, opening bank accounts, and reporting taxes — the same admin every international student faces. After mapping hundreds of repeated questions, we set out to build the shared brain we wish we had on day one.
Anu — Mongolian-born, Kookmin University SW senior — ran a university PBL project on foreigner admin accessibility. User research and regulatory analysis on 행정사·변호사·개인정보보호법 mapped the legal boundaries Korico could safely operate within.
Co-founders Geonu, Junseok, Yeonju and Weronika joined. The team placed 2nd at the Sogang Agentic AI hackathon, joined Google for Startups Silkway Accelerator, and shipped early visa Q&A prototypes to small beta groups.
